Your email provider may be blocking emails that are being sent from GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. If so, you may not be getting messages about meetings, including invites and reminders.
Whether these emails are being blocked depends upon your mail service provider. The ISPs are It can be difficult to get GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar emails through certain providers. We’ve seen our users identify this issue with email address ending in cox.net, yahoo.com, comcast.net, and more.
Ask your ISP for assistance
If you find that you’re not getting emails and you suspect your internet service provider is blocking them, reach out to your internet service provider to see if they can help. They may provide instructions on how to do this for their specific filtering system. They may also be able to confirm that they are blocking these types of emails.
The simplest solution: Use a free email account that doesn’t filter emails as much
One simple way around this is to use another email provider that doesn’t filter messages from GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. For example, you can get a free email address from Google / gmail.com. You can even connect your Outlook to send and receive emails from gmail. If you do this, then you’ll want to update the email that you use for Base Camp Trading so any new messages will be sent to your gmail address. And of course, remember to check the new email address for messages! If you’d prefer not to have a gmail address, there are email providers other than gmail that can provide email addresses similarly that don’t block messages that you want to receive. Note that having an email that’s not associated with your ISP also makes it easier to switch to another ISP in the future, as your main email is no longer tied to your internet provider.
Whitelisting
If your ISP allows you to specify whitelist addresses, then you can set up filtering to allow email through their filters. This is usually done by specifying the ending part of the sending email address. This is sometimes referred to as the server address, or the domain. If you know the domains that GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar uses, then you can set them in your whitelist filters.
