Sometimes Sierra Chart upgrades to a new version that can “break” existing indicators. This has occasionally happened with BCT indicators, and it can take a bit of time before the indicators on the BCT website are updated. When this occurs, you can roll back to a previous version of Sierra (you can find a knowledge base article on this topic).
Other times, an indicator will be provided that is designed for a version of Sierra that’s greater than your current version. If this is the case, you may see an error similar to the following:

In that example, it states that the indicator has a minimum requirement of Sierra Chart version 2160, but the version you’re running is 2150. To resolve that, you can either get a version of the indicator that is compiled for a version that’s compatible with your current version, or you can upgrade your Sierra to the higher version. Search this knowledge base for an article that describes how to roll back to a previous version – it also allows you to roll to higher versions – just enter the version number that you prefer.
