MQ Trend is very different from MQ Trender Pro (also known as Momentum Trender Pro and MQ Trender Pro 2.0).
MQ Trend draws alternating series of red and green dots above and below price, while MQ Trender Pro colors the bars to show trend strength. They’re both reflecting aspects of Trend, but are showing different aspects of trend, and are calculated very differently. They can be used at the same time, as they are used differently. MQ Trend dots can be used for price points using chandelier logic, while MQ Trender Pro 2.0 is used to show various trend statuses, with optional trailing stops, Renko entry points, and more. Both can be used on various types of charts, including synthetic charts, like Renko.
