When we create a new version of an indicator, we now usually include a version number and update the table to show the new number. The table does not include all indicators - just those with a version number. More will be added to the table as version numbers are added.
An updated version is likely available if you see a version number in the table higher than what's on your system or if yours doesn't have a version number. You can download the latest version from the BCT Website's Indicator Download page. Example installation videos exist for each platform on the BCT Support page at this link.
If you have a special custom version that may have been directly provided to you for a specific issue, the new download version may not include the adjustments included in that special instance - so keep the old version installation files in case you need to revert to it for any reason.
BCT cannot provide previous versions of indicators, so if you'd like to revert to a previous version, you'll need to use your own saved version. You can keep the old indicator installation file until you're confident that the new version is working and is preferred.
Remember that an updated indicator may change how any saved defaults or saved templates function, especially with NinjaTrader 7 or 8. If you install the indicator and it doesn’t look correct, make sure that you reset any templates or defaults you may have stored for the indicator, as the old defaults might be being incorrectly applied to the wrong plot, or some other misconfiguration that can be easily remedied.
